In this quiet corner of the Web I should like to share some of my interests with you, and, hopefully,  learn something of yours. My name is NOEL ASHBY.    I am a former city manager and management consultant living in  AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, the CITY OF SAILS and home of THE AMERICA'S CUP.  Since "retiring" for the first time I have returned to my original "trade" and established a small but growing practice in my original profession as a Chartered Accountant.

I am a former Secretary of my Irish Lodge - Ara No.348 -  here in Auckland.  It is the oldest Lodge in New Zealand, as it was establshed by Dispensation obtained from the Social Lodge No.260 Irish Constitution, Sydney on 2nd September 1842. That Mother Lodge has since acquired a new Constitution.  It i now Lodge of Antiquity No.1 NSWC. See the
